The results of independent studies into the impact and efficacy of Studiosity's AI-for-Learning service, across 6 institutions in Asia and Africa.
Findings: High student satisfaction (94.3%) and a significant correlation between the amount of work a student submitted for feedback (word count) and better academic performance, suggesting that Studiosity encourages deeper cognitive engagement and improved outcomes amongst students.
Findings: Studiosity contributed positively across all assessed academic domains, with more students consistently reporting improved skills in critical thinking (evaluating arguments, analysing perspectives), validating sources, and the tool is deemed a valuable complement to traditional lecturer feedback.
Findings: Student perceptions of the AI-powered feedback system were overwhelmingly positive regarding its helpfulness, leading to strong student acceptance and a high intention to continue using the system (M=4.16) and high satisfaction (M=4.20) for self-directed learning in academic writing.
Findings: The platform was widely seen as an effective tool for enhancing writing skills and signaled a positive impact on students' academic life, with a strong majority of students reporting that they felt more confident (89%), got the help they needed (94%), and found the service easy to use (96%).
Findings: Studiosity provided accessible, personalised feedback at scale for distance learners, contributing significantly to improving students' academic writing skills, understanding of plagiarism, and confidence in learning, while simultaneously resulting in a reported reduction in tutor workload.
Findings: Student acceptance and perceptions of efficacy were exceptionally high, with mean scores for ease of use and feedback clarity exceeding 4.50 (on a 5-point scale), reinforcing the university's mission to support accessible, student-driven learning with ethical AI.
