Get started with Studiosity:
1. Secure access from your LMS or VLE
This is the same as your student login (might be Blackboard, Moodle, Canva, Brightspace, or something else.)
2. Upload a writing sample
Your voice is unique, own it. Ensure your natural style and voice is recognised from the start. This can be any past document you have written - it's not marked at all.
3. Get feedback that guides, never writes
An upload to Studiosity doesn't change your file - it's still your own work. No cognitive offload, no 'accept all'. Whatever you have, own it.

4. Answer some questions, submit with more confidence.

How do I submit through Studiosity?

Submitting your assignment is a simple process completed directly through your institution's LMS. Instead of just dropping a file, you will also complete some short questions and answers, to confirm your authorship and show what you've learned.
Here is exactly how to do it:
Step 1: Access Studiosity. Log into your LMS, find your course, and click on the Studiosity link.
Step 2: Upload a sample piece of writing, to ensure your natural style and voice is recognised from the start. This can be any past document you've written (minimum 500 words).
Step 3. Upload your final assignment file as prompted.
Step 4: Complete the short Q&A. You will be guided through a few quick, written questions about your assignment. This is just an opportunity to show what you've learned.
Step 5: Final submission. Once you complete the validation questions, your assignment is officially submitted to the university.
If you do submit close to your assignment deadline, you might be prompted to submit your final document before completing the set of questions to validate your work.
What happens if I don't successfully validate my work on my first try?
Don't worry. If your first attempt at validating your work is not successful, you will be given the opportunity to revise your work, and do the questions again. However, if your deadline is close, you can submit your work, even if it is not yet validated.
What kinds of questions will I be asked when I self-validate my work?

The questions are not a quiz or a test on new material. There are no trick questions. Instead, the questions are entirely about your specific assignment, and give you an opportunity to show your educator what you have learned about your assignment.
You can expect straightforward, reflective questions that ask you to explain your thinking. For example, you might be asked:
Briefly summarise the main argument, thesis, or conclusion of your paper in your own words.
Describe a theory discussed in your assignment.
Fill in the blank: "In a landfill, PLA breaks down slowly and can release ______"
If you've done the work, you already know all the answers! You won’t need to study or prepare anything extra to pass this step.
What does my educator see?

Your educator will see the results you see, before you submit your work, including:
Your Q&A answers: Your educator can review the written answers you gave during the short questionnaire about your assignment and process.
Authorship continuity: This is a metric that helps confirm the work is authentically yours, based on how you interacted with the validation process.
This process is simply a way for you to confidently show your learning and self-validate your work. If you wrote your own assignment, your answers and your score will naturally reflect that, and there is nothing extra you need to worry about!
How long does the self-validation process take?

Ideally, you should aim to start the process at least 20 minutes before your assignment deadline. This gives you a comfortable buffer to read the questions, type your answers, and ensure your file uploads smoothly.
Because the questions are simply about your own thoughts and how you wrote your assignment, you won't need to spend time researching or looking up answers.
What happens if I run out of time or the deadline is hit while I'm answering?
If you are in the middle of answering your validation questions and the due date/time arrives, the system will protect your submission.
Instead of locking you out or making your work late, the process will gently interrupt you and automatically prompt you to submit your assignment. This ensures your assignment is logged on time and you don't lose marks for missing the deadline while typing.
