For universities and colleges

Policy into practice, assessment by assessment.

Studiosity is a learning assurance platform for universities: feedback that develops student thinking, and validation in which students demonstrate the thinking is their own. Every student in an assessment configured with Validate takes part. Most institutions have an AI policy now. Far fewer can say what it looks like in a live course, on a real deadline, in one particular module. That’s where we work: the point where a policy becomes a setting on an assessment, and where a student shows the learning happened.

Governance

The point where your AI policy stops being a document and becomes a setting on a real assessment.

The academic who designed the assessment makes two decisions: how much AI use is designed into this task, and the Validity Threshold the work needs to reach. A first-year reflection and a capstone can be set to different bars. Your students then show they understand their work against what was set, and the result comes back to you in the same framework.

Partners

Who Studiosity works with

Studiosity is used by universities in 15 countries, across the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South East Asia, South Asia, North Africa and the Gulf. Murdoch University has extended Studiosity to 23,000 students. The University of Bedfordshire makes Studiosity available across a cohort of 20,000 students. The University of Greenwich has made Studiosity available to its full student cohort.

What it returns

What makes the learning real, as well as showing it.

8.8

percentage points

Studiosity use was associated with a weighted average retention uplift of 8.8 percentage points against non-users, across seven universities in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Measured across the Studiosity Plus service as delivered 2024–25, seven universities, 21,593 Studiosity users.

Coverage and depth

Wherever you turn it on, everyone is covered. Depth takes more than that.

Coverage stops reach being a promotion problem. Depth is different. The outcomes in the evidence came from students who kept coming back, and that takes effort from your educators as well as from us. Here’s how your educators turn it on, with us alongside.

Disputes

Nothing here generates an accusation.

The process asks your students to demonstrate something. It never asserts that they did something. Where a standard isn’t met, an educator looks at the work with the reasons in front of them. The student is asked, not accused.

Your AI licence

Already given your students an AI licence?

That decision doesn’t need reversing. A licence for the whole institution was the right decision to make once for equity. But an LLM isn’t for learning, nor critical thinking or core skills development, nor learning assurance; in fact, handing out the licence and then policing it is part of the chaos that needs untangling now. That is what Studiosity covers.
