Turn it on for your course

Set up Studiosity on the assessment, then tell your students to get feedback.

Setting it up on an assessment

You'll set the two decisions when you create or edit the assessment. It takes a couple of minutes, and it's per assessment.

Ask your students for a writing sample early

Ask students for a personal writing sample early, and Authorship Continuity can be established from the start. Without one, the questions at submission do more of the work.

Five steps, from policy to what the educator sees:

  1. Institutional policy.
  2. Assessment design.
  3. The two settings, where policy becomes operative.
  4. What the student sees.
  5. What the educator sees.

And tell them the feedback exists

Students use writing feedback because someone they trust told them it was worth doing. Validate runs because you configured it. Feedback gets used because you told students it exists, and the retention evidence rests on that.

Ask us for the wording and we'll send you a line for your LMS announcement and one for your assessment brief.

And when something comes back pending

Read what “with the educator” means before the first one arrives, rather than after.
