What is learner self-validation?
Now that AI can provide quick answers, AI detection isn't relevant - nor effective - in higher education. Studiosity's multi-layered approach is based on gathered indicators from the student themselves - self validation of learning and authorship - as the work is produced, rather than a single, ineffective 'scan' of a document afterwards.
What is student authorship validation?
A process for confirming that submitted work was genuinely produced by this exact student who submitted it, based on offered evidence built up by the student during the writing process rather than a post-submission 'score'.
How does this address AI-assisted cheating and plagiarism?
It removes the incentive and the ambiguity at once: students are supported to do their own thinking, and that thinking is evidenced. The thinking has the value, not the document. It changes the focus. As a result, the institution holds a defensible, multi-layered record instead of an unmanaged risk.
