We love a challenge

It's how we find the best people for this important role.

From meeting our custom criteria, to additional screening, writing a personal application, necessary background checks, OH&S requirements, technology and platform training modules, subject-area training modules, learning in our custom, offline practice environment away from real students, receiving one-to-one mentorship, and much more in an extended, holistic process - not all applicants will gain a place in our network.

For the 1 in 20 who are accepted, there is no end to their review and mentoring. It makes their personal achievement and roles as Studiosity Subject Specialists highly recognised in the education sector, and ensures we can meet the standards that our education partners - schools, universities, and institutions - expect.

"Education to me is like a light, showing how to build people’s future. It is helpful to get you started, and also helps you advance in your future."

"I was surprised at the number of times a student is capable and showing great work, but lacks confidence in their abilities - being able to rebuild their confidence through reassurance is very fulfilling."
Christine Head - Specialist

"Helping students connect the dots and make the next leap in their understanding is a rewarding experience. Being a specialist with Studiosity is a great platform that allows me to give back to the education system that got me where I am today. This job has also showed me that you never stop learning!"

"Working with Studiosity is indeed an enriching experience, and I really love imparting knowledge. I am able to reach a broader student population that would not have been otherwise possible. Interacting with students from different parts of the country or the world is an extremely unique and rewarding experience."

"It is meaningful to me to be able to work with young people, and have an impact on their academic careers. I would like to think that I play a small, but important part in equipping them with language/academic skills that will serve them well both personally and professionally."

"I love working for Studiosity because when I sit down to work, I leave having made a real difference, to actual people. Helping people out on their educational journey is something that really means something to me. It’s a tough job, but it’s definitely rewarding!"
Temi-Phillips-150x150

Temi P.

MSc Mechatronics, King's College London, PhD student, University of Calgary

"I think education is food for the mind. Just like we have to nurture and feed our bodies with good, healthy food, I believe we need to take care of our minds as well. And since we don't stop eating simply because we've spent the last 20 years or so eating, I believe we shouldn't stop feeding our minds, irrespective of how old we are, or how much we already know."
