3rd University Leadership Steering Committee meeting
The committee welcomed new members, reviewed the pilot results of the AI in Teaching & Learning Adoption Framework, and explored the upcoming series of strategic roundtables and events that the group will be organizing in the coming few months .
A key theme that emerged through the discussions is that collaboration matters. Leaders reflected on how collective action can amplify impact across institutions, moving beyond isolated efforts toward shared transformation.

2nd University Leadership Steering Committee meeting
The second meeting of the Steering Committee took place in June, and offered a timely opportunity to reflect on the Committee’s achievements and shape the next phase of this important initiative. Looking ahead, the Committee will lead a series of collaborative events to spotlight institutional experiences and practical examples of AI adoption in teaching and learning. These events will offer valuable opportunities for higher education professionals to learn from one another and engage in open, cross-institutional dialogue.

Future Focus: 2nd AI in Higher Education Leadership Roundtable
At the Canadian University Dubai leaders came together to discuss, collaborate across institutions and think innovatively as we tackled one of the biggest issues facing the higher education sector in 2025. The event focused on the ratification of the AI in Teaching and Learning Adoption Framework for Higher Education.

1st University Leadership Steering Committee meeting
This first online meeting focused on endorsing the terms of reference, forming sub-committees, and exploring a structured framework for integrating AI into teaching and learning. The Steering Committee emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing key priority areas, which will guide the sub-committees' themes and initial outputs. Read more.

Future Focus: 1st AI in Higher Education Roundtable
