The University of Roehampton is committed to improving the student experience, including providing high quality teaching, top class facilities and a wide range of student support services. Studiosity was piloted to provide Roehampton students with online, on-demand study help when they need it most, 24/7, 365 days a year.
"At Roehampton, working with Studiosity is just one element of the student support and engagement work that we do, but it's been a key one of our support activities as part of the work we've been doing."
Professor Marilyn Holness, OBE
>>Watch next: an interview between Professor Ezingeard, Vice-Chancellor, University of Roehampton and Professor Professor Cliff Allan, Studiosity UK Academic Advisory Board member and former Vice-Chancellor of Birmingham City University about the experience of working with Studiosity and the benefits that those services bring to the university's students.
"Effectively it provides an opportunity to fill a gap that they weren't able to address through the service in the way it was set up. And therefore, we've had excellent feedback from staff."
Professor Jean-Noël Ezingeard, Vice-Chancellor
The service allows students to provide feedback each time they use the service. Here is a selection of comments provided by Roehampton students during the pilot:
"I love the tone of the reviews - advisory, clear and helpful. No judgement in sight! Thanks so much."
"Ι literally love Studiosity. It is exactly what I needed to check the grammar and vocabulary".
"Thank you for giving very constructive feedback in a very short period of time! Thank you for the kind words; the comments are definitely useful and give me more confidence in the work before submitting it."
“I found this very helpful and reassuring that I am on the right path and receiving feedback really helped me to learn what I need to improve.”
"I am grateful for the service, especially at the weekend before the due date when you have the most concerns."
